At the Hampton Campaign, we are pro life because we believe every life is valuable no matter how small. Even before you’re born we believe that anyone could be anything and so we should save all infants from abortion. Abortion takes the life from a newborn that could someday turn into a US president, an influencer of some type, or anything else someone could only dream of. We believe that if someone is impregnated when they gave consent, they should be forced to have the child because they made the conscious decision to give consent. If they decided they were ready, they should’ve been ready for the financial repercussion which is one of the leading reasons for abortion. Many mothers claim that they are not prepared for the responsibility but they were prepared for the risk of having a child. Another main reason is to avoid being a single parent which is also something someone would have thought of before they gave consent and had the chance of a child. Being pro life means we believe that human flourishing is for all. That means that every life, no matter how poor or unwanted, they deserve a chance and they are precious. To add on to this, some famous people who were either recommended to be aborted or were but survived were Justin Bieber, Tim Tebow, and Pope John Paul II. Another reason for being pro life is it will advance science because they can do tests on poor and unwanted babies to figure out why they have defects. Another reason is that almost all religions support pro life and it will keep them happy. The catholic church goes as far to say that the death penalty, abortion, euthanasia, assisted suicide, and war should be illegal. At the Hampton Campaign, we don’t go as far as the Catholic church, but we do believe in pro life like they do.
